Dr. Mohammad Duqqah

Dr Mohammad Duqqah, Ph.D. in Production Ecology and Resource Conversation form the Wageningen University – The Netherlands in 2002 through a scholarship from the Netherlands MoFA and in 1995 got his M.Sc. in Irrigation Engineering from University of Southampton – United Kingdom through the Chevening scholarship program.

Currently working as a Freelancer Consultant in Irrigation Engineering and Water Resource Management with different international organizations like AHT GROUP AG, Management and Engineering, The German Development Bank (KfW), GIZ and Arab Countries Water Utilities Association (ACWUA).  Previously worked at the University of Jordan for more than 11 years as an Assistant Professor at the department of Land Water and Environment Analytical, challenge and results driven, professional with 25-year experience in teaching research, agriculture projects and consultation in the field of irrigation management, water use efficiency, soil water plant relationship and wastewater treatment and reuse from planning and supervision to engineering analyses and design.

Wastewater reuse expert with experience in wastewater management projects and development of strategies of safe wastewater reuse. Worked on innovative new methods to improve resources quality and alleviating poverty in resource-poor areas. Respected for management ethics, and entrepreneurial attitude. Results-oriented with a record of successful international and local, progressive and diverse technical experience.

Conceives and creates the framework and structure for new agricultural research and business opportunities, some of these researches managed to introduce new methods and technologies to produce more crops per drop and also to improve living environments.

Received a Fulbright scholarship award as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Washington State University, Biological Systems Engineering Department.

Happily married and lives in Amman capital of Joran.  His main hoppy is gardening and landscaping and he has a nice big garden within his house. Loves to travel and his preferred destination is London, been there more than seven times.  His favorite spot is outdoor walking.
